Mary F. Hull, 85, of Princeton passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Liberty Village of Princeton, IL.
Mary was born on May 31, 1938 in Barrington, IL the daughter of Carleton and Florence (Stover) Beckhart. She worked as a Phlebotomist at Perry Memorial Hospital for 30 years. After retiring from the hospital, Mary moved to Alaska and worked as a Phlebotomist at a Women’s Clinic. She would also volunteer at the Iditarod Races. Mary eventually returned to Princeton and worked at Lincoln Elementary School as a Grandparent for 10 years. Mary was an avid Princeton Tiger Football and Basketball fan along with Duke University Basketball. She was always active in her community and was a longtime member of First Lutheran Church in Princeton. Mary will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth (Graham) Storey of Fairbanks, Alaska; five grandchildren, Joshua (Victoria) Hull, Kai (Emily) Hull, Tyler (Kseniya) Hull, Mia Storey and Trevor Storey; two great-grandchildren, Zayden Rutherford and Jackson Hull; one sister, Carla (Stephen) Bouslog of Princeton and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Hull, parents and one brother, Robert “Bob” Beckhart.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on March 14, 2024 at First Lutheran Church in Princeton with Pastor William Shields, officiating. Cremation Rites have been accorded. Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington, IL.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Friends of Strays in Princeton, IL.
