Loeup Yann, survivor of the Khmer Rouge Genocide, 70, of Ohio, Illinois passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton.
She was born October 8, 1950 in Cambodia the daughter of Moav Yann and Ho Yim.
Loeup married Chhorn Toum in Cambodia. He survives in Ohio, IL.
Also surviving are five children: Merryna (Ratt Yim) Toum of Ohio, IL, Khao Toum of Elmwood, IL, Kemchath (Sokunthea Sok) Toum of Glendale Heights, IL, Kimsou (Kassandra) Toum of Oswego, IL, and Kane Ny Toum of Peoria, IL; 13 grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton. A private religious service will be held at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton. Cremation rites will be accorded after the service. Due to Covid-19 masks and social distancing will be required.
