Born Oct. 9, 1916, in Canby, Minn., to James F. and Ellen (Whipple) Hansen, she married Vernon C. Martin March 28, 1936, in Buda. He died Sept. 7, 1972. She then married Amiel Roseling Sept. 1, 1973, in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manlius. He died in 1993.
She graduated from Tampico High School in 1935 and worked for Manlius School from 1946-1978. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manlius and Eastern Star.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy (George Smith) Martin of Belvidere; two sons, Duane (Sandra) Martin of Manlius, and Robert (Janet) Martin of Vail, Ariz.; one daughter-in-law, Ruth Ann Martin of Sterling; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Aldine Swan of Eureka, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, James “Bill” Martin; two sisters, Donna Callihan and Doris VerDick; a granddaughter, and a great-grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pastor Martin Lipes officiating. Burial will be in Manlius Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manlius, Manlius Rescue Squad, Manlius Cemetery and Walnut Manor.
Grant-Johnson Funeral Home in Manlius is handling arrangements.
