Diane L. Worgess, 64, of Walnut died at 12:38 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.

Born March 5, 1945, in Detroit, Mich., to Howard and Margaret (Thome) Fraser, she married Rick Worgess July 11, 1969, in the Highland Park Baptist Church in Southfield, Mich. He survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Caleb (Michelle) Worgess of Greenwood, Ind., Pete (Hillary) Worgess of Norfolk, Va., and Jon (Rhonda) Worgess of Princeton; one daughter-in-law, Joanne (Ron) Imsland of Princeton; one sister, Judy (Bill) Kutchen of Davison, Mich.; and eight grandchildren, Nicole Worgess, Andrea Imsland, Kimmy Imsland, Caleb Worgess, Abigail Worgess, Aiden Worgess, Brandon Ransom and Matthew Worgess.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Joel Worgess.

She graduated from Cass High School in 1963 and from Detroit Bible College and New Tribes Bible Institute in Jackson, Mich. She was a key punch operator for Manufactures Nation Bank in Detroit, Mich., and then an admissions director for Colonial Hall in Princeton for 10 years.

She was a member of the Geneseo Evangelical Free Church in Geneseo, Rotary International and the Princeton Chamber of Commerce. She was active in Victorious Christian Living and conducted ladies home Bible studies.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with Pastor Greg Chenoweth officiating. Burial will be in Mount Bloom Cemetery, Tiskilwa.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
